An editorial illustration for a magazine feature - exploring how study circles involving both members of the general public and professionals, including teachers, can meet to discuss research, share experiences and explore new ideas together in a relaxed, informal setting.
The illustration depicts a small group gathered around a circular rug, with a collection of unusual objects brought to the discussions. Nils-Petter wanted to avoid associating the scene with any particular academic discipline, so more ambiguous, everyday objects were introduced, leaving their meaning open to interpretation.
