About Nils-Petter:
Nils-Petter Ekwall is an award-winning Swedish illustrator / illustratör based in Stockholm - working with clients worldwide - specializing in highly detailed illustrations, cityscapes, illustrated maps, infographics, and retro-esque colours. With 28 years of experience in commercial illustration, Nils has worked with clients across various industries. His unique style, which combines traditional vector work with intricate detail and love, often in semi-isometric perspective, with an infographic touch - has produced memorable designs in subjects such as infrastructure, industry, travel, construction, sustainability projects, and future technologies. While his illustrations often delve into hard and technical subjects, Nils’s work is full of life and storytelling, making him a favorite among art directors and buyers worldwide.
Nils-Petter graduated from School of Graphic Arts and Illustration in Lund 1994.
Nils-Petter’s work has been featured in renowned design books by Gestalten, HarperCollins, RotoVision, and Wondering Publishing.
Bobby works as Nils-Petter's assistant and helps out in the studio with day-to-day tasks, often from his wooden box in the heart of the workspace. He is also known for his experimental writing skills and his need to always be very close, often lying on the Wacom tablet. In his free time, Bobby loves birds and nature walks.
