The brief was to illustrate this fact; Producing one kilo of beef requires 15,000 litres of water, while producing one kilo of wheat requires 1,500 litres. By 2030, the world will need at least 50% more food, 45%more energy and 30% more water. Unfortunately, desertification, land degradation and drought are contributing to the global water crisis.
